MY SCHOOL PROJECT VIDEO

Saving the Seas Popcorn Company was started in 2021 by Miguel (aka: Mikey) when he was 9 years old. The idea came up for his third-grade "Market Day" class project.  He wanted to create a product that somehow combined two of his favorite things: the ocean and popcorn. That's how STSPC was born.

In an effort to protect one of planet's most precious resources, the ocean, STSPC will donate 50% of gross sales go to organizations (such as UM's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, local beach-clean ups and more!). The remaining proceeds cover our costs and go towards Miguel's college fund as he aspires to continue his conservation efforts as a marine biologist.
